Recruiting Energy Storage Development Talent

It's very early in the storage development/microgrid game, and job description vary wildly.
For those jobs involving adding solar to wind or solar projects, the jobs are very similar to those of just wind and solar.
For stand-alone storage that is front-of-the meter, the jobs resemble utility-scale solar.
For stand-alone storage that is behind-the-meter, the jobs look like CHP or general distributed generation development roles.
One of the main issues in the space is what does a developer need to know about local ordinances and incentives.  For example, the fire and safety rules about storage in New York City are extremely restrictive.  So, if the development sites are to be in the five boroughs of New York, it would be wise to have someone who's worked in depth with local officials.
At the moment, the best approach is to look at the variety of ads for talent in the space to get some ideas, then contact us for possible ways to approach recruiting for the right person--using the projects you have in mind as part of the requirements.
