One of the major events in the last five years has been the growth of firms who provide software and consulting services in the risk management area.

Googling for these firms works, but it pays to be specific.

For example, a search for Energy Analytics yields 120+ results.

But, googling for Energy Analytics Outage Management gives you a larger percentage of the right firms.

Trying Microsoft’s Copilot AI programs finds two firms, both of which are on-target, but misses many others.

While there may not be an open position posted when you go to the firm’s website, it’s worth checking.

Also, the staff description can convey the skills that they are interested in.

Find a product/service you can use

The services offered by these firms change frequently with additions of functionality happening all the time.

See who your competitors are

As an employer in this space, it’s hard to keep track of the smaller firms in the business.
