   Title: Director/Senior Manager, Origination—Energy Storage

    Location: Greater Chicago Area

   Background

   Client is a successful FOM energy storage player/developer/IPP with substantial financial backing. It

   has over 5000 MW of utility-scale storage facilities in progress.
 
 

   Team is uniformly competent and energetic.

   Management has been successful in the energy business for many years.

   Business development team members get responsive, thoughtful support from home office.

   Overview of Principal Duties

   Manager will originate/manage potential offtake opportunities and respond to RFP’s from wide

   variety of organizations, particularly electric utilities.

   Markets of particular interest are: CAISO and ERCOT.

   In addition to dealing with the off takers, the manager will interact with permitting authorities, local

   governments, and any local stakeholder whose support is important.

   Desired Qualifications

   3-10 years experience in the power business with significant experience with the process of

   renewables project development. Some specific experience with energy storage is extremely

   valuable.

   Demonstrated experience in closing complex deals.

   Understand regulatory frameworks for various states/regions and how they apply to project

   success—particularly in ERCOT or CAISO.

   Strong knowledge of project finance, financial modeling and valuation techniques.
